RIZIN.45 Weigh-in results

As the anticipation builds for RIZIN.45, the fighters stepped onto the scales today at the official weigh-in, setting the stage for what promises to be a thrilling New Year’s Eve event.
In the headline event, the inaugural Flyweight Championship rematch between former two-time RIZIN and Bellator Bantamweight Champion Kyoji Horiguchi and reigning DEEP/CFFC Flyweight Champion Makoto Shinryu is officially set to captivate fans worldwide. Their last encounter ended in a 29-second no contest due to an eye poke, and both fighters are eager to settle the score in the ring.
Juan Archuleta has been officially stripped of the Bantamweight title, rendering the championship vacant. The current status of the upcoming fight remains undetermined. In the event that both parties reach a mutual agreement, a no contest rule is the likely scenario, which would result in the crowning of a new Champion, contingent upon Kai Asakura emerging victorious. Conversely, should Juan Archuleta emerge as the winner, the bout will be declared a no contest.
RIZIN.45 is the eighth and final event of 2023, marking RIZIN’s eighth New Year’s Eve extravaganza. With a stacked card featuring 17 bouts, including championship rematches, title fights, and a clash of Japanese champions, RIZIN.45 is poised to close the year with a bang.
The event will take place at Saitama Super Arena on December 31, 2023, and will be available for global viewership on FITEtv.
