UNDEFEATED ABINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS bantamweight Max Barrett (above right) puts his 3-0 record on the line at “CES MMA 39” on Friday, Nov. 4th, 2016 at Memorial Hall in Plymouth, Mass., against Connecticut vet Dan Dubuque, a fight that will be featured on the main card of AXS TV’s AXS TV Fights telecast. Max’s older brother, Peter Barrett, also fights on the sam night, putting his 6-0 record on the line against Florida’s Jeremy Davis. The two grew up in a family of 15 siblings and put in five hours of training per night in addition to working full-time jobs.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Oct. 31st, 2016) — There’s little hesitation from either Peter Barrett or Max Barrett when the Abington, Mass., brothers are asked why they continue to step foot inside the cage, putting in 50-hour work weeks on top of their grueling, two-a-day training sessions.
